Set within the Keston Park estate in Bromley, this private residential project was designed and delivered as a considered blend of entertainment, wellness and contemporary living. The brief was to create a space that could shift easily between social use and quiet retreat, without feeling theatrical or overworked.
At the centre of the scheme is a bespoke home bar finished in copper mosaic tiling, with a backlit onyx bottle display and upholstered bar seating. The atmosphere is deliberately low key and refined, closer to a private members’ lounge than a traditional domestic bar. A sunken seating area sits alongside, using soft finishes, metallic accent tables and layered lighting to create a relaxed, hotel like setting.
Behind the scenes, a fully integrated bar allows the space to function properly while keeping service elements discreet. The adjoining gym suite is fitted with commercial grade ESP equipment, designed for serious use rather than show. Beyond this, the layout opens into a spa style relaxation area incorporating a sauna, daybeds and controlled lighting, allowing the space to move naturally from activity to recovery.
Throughout the project, emphasis was placed on proportion, texture, lighting and comfort. The result is a private environment that feels carefully considered and purposeful, transforming part of the home into a complete lifestyle space rather than a collection of features.
